Shout out!!

I want to offer a huge congrats to my fellow writer friend and MoMo, Kiersten. SHE SIGNED WITH AN AGENT TODAY!!! How awesome is that?

Kiersten, I am so happy for you, and I am excited to vicariously experience all the awesome things you are going to experience. 🙂

He he, thanks ; ) I think it’s pretty awesome, too!

And I’m so excited for the day, some years down the road, when people run the story of the wildly successful YA writers who started out as a simple online writing group ; )

    Oh yes. 🙂

  3. Natalie on November 10, 2008 at 4:04 pm

Yes, living vicariously, this is my plan as well:) At least until it happens to us, right Ren? Let’s just be confident today and say it will.

Isn’t it the best news – the other MoMos will soon follow! I have a spooky feeling.

    Good spooky!

  5. Renee Collins on November 10, 2008 at 5:37 pm

    It will, Natalie! It will.

Also, Janey, I’ve got my fingers crossed that you are a psychic and you just never realized it. 🙂

    Kiersten rocks my socks!
I’m a little embarrassed that you, a writer, came to my blog and read my 600 word sentence.
And what’s a MoMo? Don’t you mean mumu? Does Kiersten really wear those, and do you have any pictures?

  7. Renee Collins on November 11, 2008 at 1:59 pm

I think Kiersten would look fabulous in a mumu. I grew up in Hawaii, so I have one I could lend to her. Of course, I’m about a foot taller than her, so it might be a tad long.

Also, don’t be embarassed! That 600 word sentence was hilarious.

  8. Kiersten on November 11, 2008 at 3:17 pm

    I WISH I had a mumu.

Alas, I do not. Our writing group is called the MoMo Writers. But I think mumus should be our new uniforms.

  9. Natalie on November 11, 2008 at 5:28 pm

Mumus are very comfortable. I’m all for instating it as our uniform, as long as I can wear slippers too. It’s kinda cold here.

Yay, Kiersten! She’s brought us all renewed hope.

Congrats & a raised coffee cup toast to Kierstan! You must be walking on clouds. It’s so nice to hear of this amazing news as we all make our way on the journey. Thanks for sharing and best wishes to Kierstan.
