It’s going to be a long summer

I know what you are thinking right now. Tears in your eyes, bottom lip quivering, you are wondering why I haven’t posted a Photoshop Friday today. Well my friends, as I’ve alluded to before, this summer is one of MANY complications. I’m basically stressed out of my mind with it all, but never you fear, I shall overcome.

In the meantime, however, my blog usage is going to become sadly diminished. And the first thing to be hit is Photoshop Friday. Now, before you become hysterical with sorrow, let me say that I am only decreasing it to an every other week event–not doing away with it entirely. So, you can look forward to my borderline ridiculous photo essays next week.

At any rate, I’ve posted a little song to help you all embrace this new system. If you don’t feel like listening to the whole thing, move straight to 0:53.

  1. I thought David Bowie was born old, but that picture proves otherwise. Who knew!

Are you getting ready for your move? Is that part of the stress? I feel you. We’re moving to Ohio in just four weeks (I know you’ve done that move more than once). I think it’s ironic that you were living in Ohio and I was in the Western US when we started blogging together, and now I’m going to be in Ohio and you’re in the West (sort of). Parallel lives I tell you!

Hang in there, dear! I’m always online, come vent if you need. I’ll miss PSF, but I’ll take every other week.

Oh Renee, the long summer of change ahead may yet bring amazing blessings so go with the flow. There WILL be calmer waters ahead.

Be good to yourself, post whenever you feel like it and when you do I’ll be right here.

  5. I’m trying to figure out how to type me being hysterical with sorrow. I think it might go something like this…

    WAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!

(Seriously though, I understand. Hang on!)

Stupid stressful situations. But you’ll get through it! You can do it!!

  7. Candice-I know! It’s too bad you couldn’t have moved to Ohio sooner. I guess you will be about an hour away from where we lived, but still. It would have been fun.

Natalie-Thanks, I’ll be needing to vent a lot this summer.

Janey-You are so sweet! Thanks. It really does make me feel better to think that way. :)

    Michelle-Thanks!

Miriam-Yeah, that’s a pretty good impression of hysterical. That’s kind of how I feel right now. (heh)

Sara-True. I’ve just got to keep perspective. It will all be over by September.
